We Moved!
The Haymarket Sportsplex, a new multi-sport/activity facility, with 8,000 square feet of open (TURFED) floor space that can be divided into as many as 5 netted tunnels. There is also an additional area with two tunnels equipped with Iron Mike pitching machines and a throwing/fielding lane. Snyder Baseball & Softball Academy is excited to bring it’s outstanding baseball instructional program to this exceptional facility. Winter Baseball Camps will begin the week following Thanksgiving. If you are interested in seeing the new facility and discussing what Snyder Baseball can do for your players give me a call. I can meet with you at your convenience and would like for you to come see what will be the best facility in the area. We are located at the corner of Routes 15 and 55 in Haymarket.

Haymarket SportsPlex is Open
On November 21, 2009 the Haymarket SportsPlex officially opened its doors to the public with a big-time Open House. Teams and athletes from all around the area arrived to check out the new facility and enjoy some lunch from local vendors. Welcome to the all new Snyder Baseball and now, Softball Academy! Brian Snyder has developed a successful business providing exceptional baseball instruction to the Northern Virginia area since 1990. We are proud to join the Snyder Baseball program by bringing the same standard of high quality instruction and passion for the sport of softball.
Our softball staff is comprised of softball players and coaches with experience at the highest levels of our sport including professional and the US National Team. We are most proud to bring Courtney Bures, a Haymarket, VA native, back to her stomping grounds. Since graduating from Stonewall High, and winning an ASA National Championship with the VA Shamrocks, Courtney finished a successful college career at Mississippi State, has gone on to play professionally for the Washington Glory and now USSSA Pride, and played for the US Women’s National Team last summer in Japan.
We take great pride in giving our softball students the opportunity to be a part of softball, and find success at whatever level they wish to achieve. Through individual lessons, camps, team training, and many other opportunities, we hope to grow, improve, and provide even more opportunities for the softball community.
