Selected in the 10th round of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft

Played at University of Mississippi for 4 years – 1st base

Played at Westfield High School – holds the single season state record for home runs in the highest division for high school



Named to the 2012 New York Penn All-Star Team

Topps NY Penn League Player of the Month for July 2012

Prior to 2015 injury, second in all minor league baseball on base percentage.  Ended season with a .359 batting average.

Ended career in 2019 at AAA New Orleans (Miami)

Hitting Coach for the past four seasons in the Miami Marlins organization - Beloit Sky Carp and Pensacola Blue Wahoos



2012 All-SEC second-team at first base – led first basemen in home runs, batting average, RBIs and fielding percentage

Finished his career tied for second all-time in home runs with 41

Finished his career with third all time in RBIs with 173

Finished the season ranked in the top 10 in the SEC in five offensive categories (slugging percentage, RBI, home runs, doubles and total bases)

Committed only one error in the field to post a .998 fielding percentage on the 2012 season

Named to the SEC Community Service team for his efforts in the local community
