BIO

Coach Michael Zimorowicz brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in baseball to the Snyder Baseball program. A graduate of West Scranton High School and East Stroudsburg University, Coach Zimorowicz was not only a standout player but also a trailblazer in Northeast Pennsylvania’s travel ball scene. He was part of one of the first Moosic Mets travel ball teams, which helped introduce travel baseball to the region under the guidance of the late Harry Nelson.

As a player, Coach Zimorowicz had an illustrious career at East Stroudsburg University, where he started for all four years and set multiple records. Notably, in the spring of 1999, he ranked 16th in the NCAA for his ERA and was among the top 10 in strikeouts per nine innings. His excellence on the mound earned him a spot in the East Stroudsburg University Baseball Hall of Fame in 2019. Coach Zim’s 16-year record for wins was surpassed in 2016 by Matt Festa of the Seattle Mariners. His summer baseball experience includes standout performances in the ACBL, particularly with the Scranton Red Sox, where he was a unanimous selection to the 2000 All-Star Game.

With over 20 years of coaching experience, Coach Zimorowicz has worked with top-tier organizations including Baseball U, Northeast Pride, and Five Star National, leading teams from 15U to 18U. He has coached numerous players who went on to play at the collegiate level, including Division I, II, III, and JUCO programs, and helped six players get selected in the MLB draft. Coach Zim also has extensive knowledge in all aspects of the game—hitting, infield play, and pitching—further enhanced by certifications in Driveline and Rapsodo for both hitting and pitching.

Coach Zimorowicz is known for his blue-collar work ethic and team-first mentality, emphasizing skill development while fostering a positive, hard-working team culture. He currently resides in Virginia with his son, Kaden, and daughter, Zoey.

Coach Zimorowicz is available for pitching and hitting lessons.
