I've been coaching baseball now for 8 years. Starting out I was just helping with local leagues and volunteering where I could but the love for the game came back and I've been doing it full time for the past 4 years. From little league all stars to high school showcase ball and everything in between I can claim to have coached at all levels. The past few years I've been running the JV Gonzaga College High School program as well as coaching teams during the summer and fall (MARS 14u, VA Elite National 17u, NOVA Premier 15u Blue, MVP Royals Gray 15u). I've found my niche as a coach to be getting young players ready to play varsity level baseball; I also make an effort to help build a good person and not just a good player. To sum up my philosophy it is 'everything has to do with everything' meaning in order to be consistently successful in a game of failure one has to be responsible, hard working and detail-oriented; and most importantly be respectful to your parents, coaches, players, and the game itself. It is a privilege to play baseball.
